CerebroLMS takes pride of 91% alignment with MELC
In line with the Department of Education’s (DepEd) issuance of the Most Essential Learning Competencies (MELC) to support schools’ learning continuity plans during the COVID-19 pandemic, CerebroLMS is proud to announce that its modules are at 91% alignment with the common core standards.
Released in May 2020, the MELCs are intended to reduce the number of competencies taught to students to only those that are integral to the curriculum, especially now that face-to-face interaction is being limited.
CerebroLMS has learning materials for the core subjects from Kindergarten up to Grade 12, giving a total of 1,500 modules and 83 interactive simulations across 104 subjects. It also allows offline access to its course materials through a mobile application that is downloadble on both Google Play and the Apple App Store for Android and iOS users, respectively.
A flagship product of LMS Solutions Philippines, OPC, CererebroLMS aims to drastically ease the workload of teachers by up to 400 hours which could be reallocated for their families and for themselves.
The startup is among the incubatees of the Ideaspace Foundation, a non-profit accelerator supported by the MVP group. It was also recognized among the Top 20 Startups vs. COVID-19 by QBO Innovation Hub, a public-private partnership among the Department of Trade and Industry, Department of Science and Technology, JP Morgan Foundation, and Ideaspace.
