CEREBRO® to partner with MindSpeaks to promote teachers’ mental health
In line with its advocacy of easing the workload of teachers for their personal and social well-being, CEREBRO® is forging a partnership with MindSpeaks Psychological Clinic in valuing educators’ mental health amidst the “new normal” in education.
The CEREBRO® team led by Jonald Justine Itugot, chief executive officer, conducted a virtual meeting with Dr. Myla Pilar Pamplona, the psychologist behind MindSpeaks, on June 24, 2021 to discuss the details of the new partnership.
Apart from being a psychologist, Dr. Pamplona is also concurrently serving as the dean of the College of Arts and Sciences and the College of Education at the University of Perpetual Help System DALTA – Molino Campus, making her fully-qualified to speak on matters pertaining to the needs of those who are in the academe.
To mark the beginning of the joint initiative, Dr. Pamplona will serve as the first resource person for CerebroTalks, a monthly fireside chat hosted by CEREBRO® that will feature professionals in various sectors with the goal of establishing students’ awareness of their advocacies and encouraging them to form career paths in related industries.
